Quick Draw Event

Mark your calendars and make plans to take part in the Georgetown Art & Wine Walk Pleinair Quick Draw event on Sunday, June 16th.  Check-in will begin early that morning and there will be a “wet paint” display & sale in the early afternoon. No entry fee is required but registration is. Please sign up using the form below.

This year’s Art & Wine Walk will include a PleinAir “Quick Draw” Competition on Sunday, the 16th of June, a show and sale, open to any artist who wishes to participate. Competition painters, professionals, amateurs, and adventurous dabblers compete and have fun.

These artists have only six blocks and three hours to complete their works! During this time, they will set up their easels and paint “en plein air” around the historic Front Street business district. See the scenes and the artists’ interpretations of them. Smell the paint and get caught up in watching paintings come to life before your eyes!

The completed art can be seen in a show, held on the Kaminski House lawn in the 1000 block of Front Street at 12:30 PM. Paintings are exhibited on the easels on which they were created for a “wet paint” sale. Unsold paintings will be removed at 2:30 PM. Everything about the Quick Draw is quick…so don’t miss out!
